Jesse Allen Crow, 15, sent school officials in a frenzy early on Thursday, May 4, when the missing teen made his way onto the bus and displayed the weapons, prompting several schools to enter into “a secure status.”

He got off the bus at Middletown High School and walked away from the building, and he remains at large after the incident.

Investigators later recovered the knives, a black backpack, and a jacket, though Crow remains elusive as of 10:40 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The incident led to an increased police presence in Middletown, with extra deputies and School Resource Officers prepared to go on duty at dismissal.

Crow was described as being 6-foot-4, weighing 190 pounds wearing a brown vest, blue jeans, and wearing a bright orange hat.

Anyone who spots him has been instructed to immediately call 911.
